Things fall apart by Achebe

I have read this book up to  four times and and each time I take it up, I find something new and enlightening to reflect on.

Some of the themes include colonization, customs, family ties, and religion. Underneath his weaknesses, Okonkwo was just a man who clung tenaciously to his convictions and who was formed by his experiences.

My favourite quote from the book - “Those whose Palm kernels were cracked for them by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble" #bookstagram #bookishbrief #thingsfallapart #chinuaachebe #books #bookstagramnigeria
